Getting there by Public Transport:
1) Take a bus from Manila to Dau Bus Terminal.
2) Walk to the intersection with KFC and a gas station. Cross to the opposite side and take a jeep bound to SM Clark. Get off at Clark Main Gate Jeepney Terminal.
3) Check for the Route 3 Terminal (ask the Jeepney Barkers) and take a jeep for that route. Ask the fare collector to stop at Clark Picnic Grounds.
4) Your jeep should pass directly in front of El Kabayo and it will be almost at the end of the route, so don't panic if you're the last passengers

Booking notes

Bookings, with complete details as requested below, should be made a minimum of 3 days before your planned tour date.   

Bookings are confirmed on the basis of travellers providing all the required information.  Failure to provide the information may result in your booking being cancelled and refunded.

Please use the Special Request box on our Booking Page to add the required information:-

  • The names, date of birth, nationality height & weight of everyone who will be riding.

 

  • Please select the correct time slot when booking and advise if you want to book a 2, 2.5 or 3 hour trek. Our system is automatically set to 2 hours Trek (& its Corresponding Rate) Our Reservations Team will adjust the booking and advise you of the total payment due for longer treks.


When you receive your Booking Voucher, print it out and keep it with your other important travel documents.   Make a note of the Tour Operators Contact Number, in case you need to contact them

It is the traveller's responsibility to advise of ANY changes to their booking, a minimum of 24 hours prior to the tour, by contacting the Tour Operator direct (number on the Booking Voucher). We can not guarantee that last minute changes can be accommodated

Guests who are asked to leave the premises due to inappropriate behaviour which may cause harm or danger to the horses, other riders or staff, will not be entitled to a refund of their deposit or payment.

We collect a deposit only for your ride and the Final Booking Price includes a 5% Service Charge for online payments. This Deposit is non-refundable should you cancel the booking.  Please ensure you have the remaining balance, in cash on arrival.  Failure to pay on arrival will be considered a No-Show and deposit is non-refundable.

Guests are to arrive a minimum of 30 minutes before their scheduled ride, in order to complete the registration process and be fitted for a hat.

Go on a Horse Riding Trail on the back of a horse, around the wilds within the Clark Freeport area and through a recreated Wild West Village.

Just 1.5 hours from Manila, you can enjoy a fun day out and the experience of a life-time; riding an ex-race horse (Thoroughbreds).

For an additional fee on arrival, you can hire Cowboy or Indian costumes and really get in to the spirit of the adventure. 

There are fabulous photo opportunities throughout the Village and surrounding areas, as well as staged photo opportunities in the Jail and with the resident Cowboys and Indians (not included in the price)

The treks include drinks and snacks. There is a minimum of 1 Walking Groom Assistant to every 3 riders


At the General Store you can buy themed souvenirs including Cowboy Hats and Boots, Bandana's, Pellet Revolvers and Bow and Arrow Sets, as well as cowboy themed figurines. 

The Saloon is great for a delicious lunch or dinner, with a wide ranging menu which includes the famous Sheriff Special Tenderloin Steak, Cowboy Sigsig and the Roy Rogers Burger.  Alternatively, you can bring your own picnic, stock up on some more snacks and cold drinks from the General Store and head to Clark Picnic Grounds.

    No surprises here. These tours/activities are those most anyone can do if they are fine with fairly flat walks and getting in and out of transport.

    Medium

    Like to be active, even very active, but not pushed too far. This is the one for you.

    High

    These tours/activities require you to be very fit. Probably not suitable for children.

Itinerary

We advise that you aim to arrive a minimum of 30 minutes before your trek, so you can complete the registration process and pay the remaining balance

On arrival, you can wander around the Village before starting your ride, or have a quick bite to eat in the Saloon.

If you have no experience of riding, your horse will be led, by an instructor, on a Leading Rein.  There is a minimum of 1 Walking Groom Assistant to every 3 riders. Those who are experienced riders can ride without a lead rein but will be required to demonstrate basic riding skills first. The Walking Groom Assistants decision on this matter is final.

Children as young as 8 years of age are able to join a trek and will have adult supervision

Participant Guidelines

Guests should:-

  • Bring the Booking Voucher with them, and the remaining balance for their trek, in cash
  • Wear Long Pants or Jeans
  • Cotton shirts or tops, as you will be riding in the sun
  • Kicks/Trainers/Sneakers/Cross Runners are acceptable but ideally guests should wear shoes or boots with a block heel (not a kitten heel or stiletto girls!)
  • NO SLIPPERS whilst riding
  • Follow the instructions and guidance from the Walking Groom Assistants
  • Sunblock
  • Cash to hire Cowboy/Indian Costumes, stage photos or for lunch/dinner, snacks and souvenirs
  • Picnic for those who wish to bring their own and enjoy the Clark Picnic Grounds
