Complimentary free pick-up service from your hotel located in Puerto Princesa to the drop-off point in Sabang. Additional fees may apply for hotels outside of central Puerto Princesa.
- Travellers taking this tour should be ready for collection at 7am. Some travellers may not be collected until as late as 8.45am as other guests are being collected from across the city. Please be ready at 7am
- The tour operator may contact you, or the hotel where you are staying, 1 day before the tour date to reconfirm a pick-up time. This is because the Underground River Authority sets the schedule for permits and your tour may be scheduled to start later, requiring a later pick-up
- Depending on the tour you will arrive back in Puerto Princesa around 5pm. There may be some occasions when you arrive back later. If you have flights that same evening it is possible to arrange for you to be returned to the city earlier. Please be advised you will need to provide us with copies of your flight tickets to avail this arrangement.
- Please be advised that the Children's Rate applies to children who are 5 years of age and below. The Tour Operator reserves the right to request additional payment for any party members booked as children, who are older than 5 years of age.
Valid ID Card: Please bring a valid Identification Card (Passport, License, Company or School Card) during the tour in order to validate your permit at the tourism office in Sabang Port.

Please be advised that the Underground River Authority, on occasion, may take the decision to close the Tour when there is a perceived risk to the safety of its guests; usually due to weather conditions impacting on the rivers current/tides. Where possible the Tour Operator will organise an alternative date or tour activity, otherwise a full refund will be provided.
Cancellation Policy:
Cancellation by guests, for the Underground River Tour shall be subject to a cancellation fee of Php 300 per person once the Visitor’s Entry Permit has been secured.
Tour cancellation should be made at least 7 days prior to the indicated tour date.
- Cancellation made less than 7 days before the tour date shall be subject to 25% cancellation per tour per person, along with an permit fees where the permit has already been secured
- Cancellation made one (1) day prior to tour date shall be subject to 50% cancellation per tour per person, along with an permit fees where the permit has already been secured
- Cancellation made on the actual tour date shall be charged in full amount. No show will incur full amount charge.
Caring For The Customer
The "caring for the customer" rating is an aggregate score for the five parameters we survey (Service of Staff, Quality of Information, Overall Experience, Safety/Organization and Overall Impression/ Value for money). There must be a minimum of 3 traveller ratings we can average before we display a rating for the tour. We also age traveller ratings and discard any that are over twelve months old.

Communcation could be better as we had to wait and miss breakfast for our tour yet we were not contacted to be advised they were running late.

Like any other tour guide, we expext Albert, to join us in our lunch, however, perhaps he ended much better, since the catering restaurant's food was abysmal, Ginisang kangkong, steamed tuna ( just presumed it was, it looks horrible), adobong leeg an pakpak nang manok, pork (all fat), marinated in soya sauce then frie and sliced, even the askal dogs refused to take it when offered to them. To call it buffet is an insult to the term, nobody even check if the food needs refiling, we cannot find waiters, since there are no napkins around. Most of the guest in our group are foreigners, the kind of food served was embarassing. It brought a blight to a wonderful experienced. Hence Albert should be eating with the guest, so that he can understand these kind of feedback

The access to the underground tour depends on the time of your permit. Our permit was at 13h so we first made a stop at Ugong Rock: a cave and ziplining experience.
The ziplining is NOT safe if you are heavier and the cave is difficult towards the end. Only at the beginning of our tour were we advised to not proceed to the top and to not do the ziplining. We agreed!
But once in the cave "security" let us go to the top, where we were stuck. They hoisted us in a harness obviously too small and nobody confirmed that we would be safe. We had to stop them...
This is ridiculous and dangerous.
Learn to say NO and do not play with the lives of visitors and warn people that this may happen.

Was a good trip but don't buy the headphone recordings as the underwater boatman will talk all the way through the trip so it makes it impossible to listen to either. Also make sure someone who speaks English is in charge of the lamp. We had someone who didn't know left from right and so we missed many of the features of the cave because the person holding the lamp couldn't shine the light on them in time. Very frustrating.

The tour gudie was very funny and friendly. He made the day very enjoyable and as we had an afternoon pass he also took us to some other sites in the same area and even went on the zipline with us! He recommended what other tours were good and gave us information on Palawan and all the towns we passed through.
