This trek is for people who already have experience of trekking and who are fit and healthy.  This trek is not recommended for complete novices.

Mount Pulag is one of the most famous of all of the Philippines Mountains and is the highest peak in Luzon, with eco-diverse forests, moss and grasses.  It is also a great weekend expedition with ideal areas for camping, and a trek tackled via the Ambangeg Trail.

Camping on this mountain and witnessing the stunning sunrise above the clouds is an experience you will never forget, as well as an ideal photo opportunity, which will just stun your friends!

Expedition With a pick-up the night before in Manila, you will travel overnight to Baguio and transfer to a Jeepney for the last part of the journey.

Day 1: Stopping off, on route to the drop off point, for breakfast and to purchase a packed lunch (trekkers own expense), depending on time, it may be possible to stop off for a side-trip to Ambuklao Dam.

Trekkers will proceed to the DENR Office for orientation and then on to the Rangers Station for lunch, after which the 3-4 hour trek will begin.  There are two steep sections to this trek but otherwise the going is good with routes taken through forest and grassland, as well as farmed areas.  The aim is to complete this trek in time for a stunning sunset and dinner at 18.30pm

Day 2: Waking early at 01.00am (when staying at the Homestay) or 03.00am (when Camping; dependent on DENR instructions) to a very cold morning air (; as low as 4 degrees, so pack appropriately) you will trek to the summit to catch one of the most amazing sunrises you will ever experience, enjoyed over a hot coffee!

After, you will head back to camp for breakfast (included in rate) and prepare for the trek back down to the drop-off point, with the aim of arriving for 12noon.  You will board the jeep to the lunch point (included in rates) where you will also have an opportunity to freshen up for the journey back to Baguio.  From Baguio you will collect the 21.00pm Bus back to Manila, arriving around 03.00am

Where the trek excludes camping (certain seasons & on agreement from DENR only) guests will stay at the Homestay and on the morning of Day 2
