Tinoga Waterfalls: Tinago translates as 'hidden'. These 73m high falls are hidden away in a deep ravine, which is accessed by approximately 500 steps down a staircase.  Water plummets down from the cliff edge, collecting in a deep blue pool of water.  There is also a cave behind the falls which you can go in to.

Local Legend has it that there was one a rich and powerful King and Queen, but they were arrogant and proud.  The beautiful Queen was pregnant and was visited by an enchantress (as they are), who disguised herself as a beggar in order to test the Queen. She begged for the Queen's help but was rejected and exiled.  On hearing the Queen had given birth to a baby girl, the enchantress cursed the baby to be ugly.

The King and Queen were embarrassed to have produced such an ugly baby, they named her Tin-ag ('Hidden face') and they banished her to live her life in a cave.  When the child grew up the enchantress took pity on her, as she had none of her parents arrogance and pride.  The Enchantress offered to turn her in to something of great beauty and splendor. When the princess accepted she was turned in to the stunning Tinago Falls.
